Basic clean accommodations in the center of town. Check in at the pizza place. There are ruins all over this area. Perhaps not one of the safest towns to visit in Mexico if traveling alone so just be conscious of your surroundings; it is moreso the people who are friendly and speak very clear English that you have to be most concerned about. I also recommend going to the not so fancy local spots to eat, they are typically more affordable anyway.
Stayed here for two nights. They offer big rooms with two beds for 550 Pesos and smaller rooms with one bed for 450 Pesos. Rooms have their own bathroom with warm shower, air conditioning and are clean. Surprisingly you don't hear any traffic noise. But the walls are thin so you hear people talking outside. Location is good, at the northern beginning of the main street. Parking available in front of the gate on a side street. The pizzeria in the same building offers delicious food at fair prices. The caretakers are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and can only recommend it
